Volunteers are a really important part of the team at MKUH, supporting patients and staff across the hospital, helping us do more.

At MKUH, giving your time helps make a big difference to our patients’ lives. Having volunteers enables us to do more, whether that is time to spend with patients, or helping give our teams extra capacity. Volunteers are vital in helping the Trust deliver the highest quality healthcare possible to our many patients.

Volunteering is also an excellent opportunity for people to give back to their local community and to help make a real difference.

The new Community Diagnostic Centre in Lloyds Court, MK9, welcomes patients and visitors attending for a variety of appointments and many require reassurance, sign posting, general information and support.

We look for you to be able to commit to a minimum of 3 hours a week for 6 months. If you have any experience or particular interest tell us, it may come in useful. It’s really easy to get your volunteering started. If you're over 18 years old, just click on ‘Apply’ and get filling in your details!
