Volunteer Driver
Volunteers are a really important part of the team at MKUH, supporting patients, staff and visitors across the hospital, helping us do more.
Your enjoyment of driving could be put to great use by supporting our patients and clinical staff ensuring that patients can attend their appointments and get back home. As well as supporting our wider teams in delivering equipment and medication to patients who have had an earlier discharge home.
At MKUH, giving your time helps make a big difference to our patients’ lives. Having volunteers enables us to do more, whether that is time to spend with patients, or helping give our teams extra capacity. Volunteers are vital in helping the Trust deliver the highest quality healthcare possible to our many patients.
Volunteering is also an excellent opportunity for people to give back to their local hospital and to help make a real difference to our local community.
We look for you to be able to commit to a minimum of 3 hours a week for 6 months. If you have any experience or particular interest tell us, it may come in useful. It’s really easy to get your volunteering started. If you're over 18, and think you meet our skills criteria, just click on ‘Apply’ and get filling in your details!
